The team started with Dmitriy and I after we decided we wanted to participate in a LeMons race. It took about 2 weeks to locate a car on craigslist that our criteria and was under $500. We found a '91 Ford Escort for $300 in Ohio that shredded its timing belt and was still on the side of the road when we went down to pick it up.
After spreading the word that we were starting a team and that we had a car, we got three more team members; Christian, Ken, and Steve. We got teh car running, but after looking at all the rust we decided it was going to take more time and skill than we had.
